A camping TOR with repair kit can sponge the damage a single Lis can do - You'll need at least 2 in order to take one out.

On the flipside, if someone gets greedy and tries to push with one, it's pretty much a guaranteed death

You are correct.   But most don’t carry repair.   They rely on borg regeneration
