Re: End of BF Bla Bla Bla

Don’t think the game is particularly bad but it’s still broke!

  • Still there's a portion of folks out there who can't even launch the game... Even if you been through hours of fixes &  it's most certanly pointed out to a BF 2042 error...

So 1. after paying for this game it would be nice if EA looks in to this. 2. Mostly the time wasted on fixing 3. Not being able to complain about nothing an, since you can't even get in 😉

I guess... From this perspective it's closing into an end  for those having these issues since launch.

4 weeks after release date and still no joystick support.

So in a way, that's the end for me. Hopefully only temporarily.

@OccultMonkey So you’re insinuating that JackFrags, Westie, LevelCap and all the long time Battlefield YouTubers that have specifically stated that team work is suffering because the iconic 4 classes aren’t present, and because the Specialist system discourages team work, you’re insinuating that they’re just being bad team mates? That they don’t know what they are talking about?

Many gaming websites reviews are saying the same. So they are all wrong and you know what’s really up. They just all need to L2Play 😂🤣👎🏻
  • @PsychopskiWhether it using classes or specialists I drop ammo/ medic bag, I heal and revive when I can. I play the objective as well. So you can have teamwork with either. It is up to the person playing whether they want to team play or not.  I have no idea what the dumb * Youtuber's or reviewers are saying as I don't listen to them.  All I know is coming from years of playing BF and BF seldom has teamplay/work.

  • @Psychopski I'm willing to bet the people you are arguing with about teamwork, including myself have a lot more battlefield game time and experience than all of those people combined.

    Completely disagree with this.

First off, haters will be everywhere. Doesn't matter. Next, the problems with this BF are fundamentally different than previews releases. Everyone knows they release them buggy. I have never complained about a visual glitch or about the weapons balance.

The problems this time are at its core. Just like CP2077, they over hyped their product and didn't deliver. You're cutting Dice too much slack just because you are OK with mediocre contend at best. Again, i totally understand that balance issues come up when you release a game like BF into the wild but 2042's release is taking this to a whole new level. Just because you are sick of reading the complain topics, means we have to shut up? If you're so happy with it, trust Dice why dont you NOT read the forum? After all its there for exactly that - to post feedback and there are plenty of well written, well articulated Topics that have nothing to do with this "hater" thing.

Its not OK to launch a game like 2042 in its state. It just isn't. Everyone had or has an opinion on the specialists. Team play really depends on the gamers. Ive had good games and bad. I dont think the specialists will make much of a difference.

But saying "screw the complainers" doesn't help and it makes you look like an *. And looking at the one liners at the game of matches, 2042 is a very different BF game than previews titles. They sold us a serious story in their trailer but the end result doesn't really take itself too seriously. I suppose most people wanted something darker, more serious.

@Psychopski i don't have a google account, no twitter, Instagram or even Facebook. i don't follow the social media game and or content creators on YouTube, most of the videos i watch on YouTube are videos related to SBC like the RPI, RPI OS or other Linux versions for SBC and programming, every now and then I stumble along a gaming video but I would say that are less than 10% of all the videos I watch on YouTube in a year

also, I’m able to build my own opinion about the game I don't need a content creator to tell me what is good or bad 😉

and as I said before if you don't able to participate in teamplay without a class then you don't do it with a class.

I can give you an example in BF2042 (like in every other BF) you can quick see when players are only there for the K/D and which are team players. You can die in front of them (even before squad member) and they let you die (i had this situation more than once and i have waited the complete time down time)

Some of these players are playing Falck they only use the ability for selfheal instead of reviving....

This people will never participate in teamplay even with classes...

I suppose you didn't take the time to read my full post or comprehended it incorrectly because nowhere did I say constructive feedback was a bad thing.

@Nightfallfilms Don't make me laugh. Of course i read it. But you cant shush people to post "toxic" stuff if they are unhappy. If someone's opinion is that this is the end of BF, you don't have to read or reply to it. So what's your point? Is there a rule that says you cant rant? And 2042 release IS rant worthy. If you're so gullible to think "oh dice will fix and oh yeah this still needs work but blaablablala" then that's on you.
  • @Psychopski ehmmm 🙂 I think this response was meant for someone else? 🙂 but just to your question... I have no doubt that these YouTubers are right... The Only thing I know for real is that some people can't even start the game due to some error on the EA side... That's all! and hence those people can't take part in giving feedback about the game.
