Has anyone figured out for DEFINITE what triggered these presumed false positive bans? If it was an auto ban via EAC, as it appears to have been, then there MUST be a link between them all. Has that link been uncovered? Many have talked about iCUE or Synapse software. I run both of these software's and have put 40 hours of playtime in this game already, from the first few hours the early access launched. I have not had any problem at all. I also run Rivatuner, MSI Afterburner, and Geforce Experience which is constantly recording. I use the overlay of rivatuner to show FPS and GPU/CPU info. I've run all of this the entire time I've played and had no issues. I know others who run iCUE and these same software's and have had no issues. Because of this, I find it hard to believe that these software's are the problem. The fact that there is no clear link between these bans that I have seen yet makes me very suspect that many could possible not be false positive. I've seen people guilty of cheating start threads like this in other games in the past, and make a big deal about it when they know exactly why they were banned. People who do that often have a very weak character, and I really despise them. I try also however not to just judge quickly, because I am also aware of instances where people have been legitimately false banned from games. Its hard to know who is guilty and who is innocent. So, I instead focus entirely on the facts. This thread is going on 12 pages now and no common thread has been identified that I can see regarding the bans. If it was iCUE then many more people would have also been banned, so it cant be that. Or, if it is iCUE, then it would have to be a specific version or something. There needs to be some effort to find the cause.
