Re: False positive bans

If a program you are using has a feature to make profiles and make macros it is against ToS. Alot of the programs I see being listed above has the ability to form macros and profiles to specific games...so therefore these false bans are legit bans. Good luck to all of you.

No bud, these are whitelist programs. So with this logic anyone who has purchased a Razer Viper Ultimate like me will be banned because the mouse requires the full software suite to be open just to turn off the RGB. If you close it all the settings are lost. Yes pretty much any gaming mice software these days have Macro features and plenty use them but because the software has the potential for it, how is that the end users fault?

    I have

-Icue open to control the fan and radiator speed of my cooler, no other way to do this.

-Synapse open for the above stated reasons

-Asus Armour running to control my motherboards/case rgb

I run these programs while playing any game with no issue, so your theory is totally invalid. Please educate yourself, before taking a stand like that.

@VandaLzASo you admit your running Icue...Icue has the ability to make macros and remap buttons which is a program that changes the game. Which is against ToS.

Read your ban dude....it says programs or Devices...Your Razor is a device..geez try educating yourself aswell. Do more research before buying stuff for your rig or even buying a gaming pc. It can get you banned from games.

So hang on, what you are saying is running these common programs that are on most gamers PC's are now going to be a risk of you being banned ?
I mean all the Call of Dutys, Rainbow 6 Siege, Formula 1, GTA 5, Starcraft 2 and many more that i play dont worry about any of these programs and BF2042 is concerned about them ?

iCue to run your common Corsiar Water Cooling software which is very common amongst gaming, to control fan speed and RGB

MSI Afterburner to Control GPU Overclocks and fan curves

Glorius Core for my Glorius Model O Wireless mouse for the settings of the mouse

HyperX NGenuity for my HyperX keyboards RGB lights

Those 4 common ones are possibly why people are being banned ?

What a joke ! Do more research before buying stuff for a rig . so what must i buy, an office mouse and keyboard that requires no software ?

@RatedChaotic what are you running on your PC, IE mouse , keyboard, cooling , GPU, are you telling me you dont run any of these programs and if you do that you close them before gaming ?

    Ok, so interesting find here.

The Warzone kernel driver for their anticheat Ricochet was released and seem to have been installed on the 2nd of december. I was banned on the 3rd.

Check with commandline and "driverquery", look for the line that says atvi-brynhil and the corresponding Link date. Is it installed closed to the date you were banned? Not sure what the date actually means here.

  • Actually, it seems to have been installed today at 16:16 when updating so probably back to 0 again.
