Re: False positive bans

This is hilarious.....

You are wasting your time emailing them, It seems the orders from the top are just follow this script and take a few days to respond. It's now a full 7 days I've been back and forth with the wonderful competent people at EA support.

I still do not know why I was banned and will never know. I sent this reply after the copy pasta response yesterday, never expecting a reply but this person earned their xmas bonus with this one.

If you are sent this,

Would you, a human being with a brain and the ability to process information and respond accordingly send this back?

If the person who wrote the script gets paid per use, this person is set for life. :P

Man this situation is pissing me off. I literally feel like i'm being treated like * by EA. I wish the community managers here would escalate this issue or something because like this thread is a month old or whatever, yet this is still clearly a huge ongoing problem. WTF

@dabbitydabdabFind a streamer who cares tbh. They are able to hurt the bottom line with one mention so that's when daddy EA notices.

We are pissing against the wind trying to dispute our bans with EA. They have our money, their end is complete. xD

It is highly unlikely that the presence of software with macro ability, like racer synapse, is the reason for any bans, but if you actually set up macros and use them in game this could trigger in game behavior that is beyond human capability and thus give advantage and so should be banned.

@mesterKG just having a macro and not having it enabled or running seems justification for banning, doesn't mater what the macro is for... 

@thoriaanusing any software to remap buttons other than using the in game key mapping is using an outside program to change game mechanics. Its considered hacking and is bannable. Look up the definition of hacking.

Alot of products like keyboards and mice have a use at your own risk policy. Like my g15 keyboard was a use at your own risk and it about got me banned.

I haven't read these last few pages, but I play(ed) with controller and don't have anything installed for my keyboard.

Until they don't clarify the reason for banning people, we will never know what is really going on.
And that is what is frustrating people. I know for a fact that they wouldn't find a single fishy thing on my pc.

That is the whole point. I am a Reverse Engineering student and I have debuggers, disassemblers, memory dumpers, etc. and the only reason I can think of to be banned is having those programs in my PC, even tough I have never used  them on BF2042. The point is that these bans are just "Guesses" by EAC, you don't actually have to cheat in game to be banned, they are definitely banning innocent people. 

Dude, can you stop writing all over again your bullshits? Add to that it was almost 20 years ago (I mean your "ban")!! I had remapped keys on my mouse for grenade and crawl (because it comfortable) in BFV for over 2000 hours. I was reported hundred times. I was never banned.

Players here have really big problems. EA literally stole their money and they don't know want to do and where to go. Hopeless is good word for this situation.

Let's do an experiment. Someone currently in the process, send them a single "." let's see how long they take to respond and what part of the script you get :P

I've seen the EA #oneofus guys post in this thread, can you not bring any attention to this topic from people who can actually do something? It seems to keep growing.

I actually messaged the EA guy and he hasn't responded. I am really hoping this gets escalated or something. I wonder if that Tom Henderson dude is still looking into this or if he gave up

Can someone from EA please help us here? I know you can't give us more detailed information about the bans here due to privacy reasons, but if you are reading this and you have the ability to escalate this topic and bring it to the right persons attention, please do it. I know there are a lot of cheaters out there, however I know as a fact that I am not a cheater and I need some ones help here so I can get back out on the battlefield!

i did that a few days ago but haven't gotten anything back yet.

@gr00bar I tried that as well but I also haven't heard anything, not even a confirmation email or anything. These companies customer service leaves a lot to be desired, to put it nicely. 

FYI that I've merged a couple of new, related topics with this one.

I tried this about 10 days ago and no answer, nothing.
