- @theCrazyOnes Dont try to turn this around on me. I would be the last person to cheat(its not hacking, you give too much credit for these b***). Its not hard to figure out what wall hack is and how it works if you have common sense.

I think the ability of Paik is fine and balanced enough
it has a short duration and Paik is put on the table when she uses it because all enemy are seeing her on the mini map
In comparison I would say that you get more support kills with the spotting of Boris sentry than with Paiks scan ability

Rao is like 100 times better than Paik. Not only does he scan but he also hacks infantry quickly at near 100 meters. Kill the hacked target and everyone around him lights up like if hit with Paiks scans. He also hacks vehicles but at a slower rate. With all the proxy balls you can see enemies on the mini map and know where they are so Paik limited ability is just meh. Luckily for me, tomorrow I'll have Paik at T1 so I'll never use her again unless they make her more useful. Her T1 outfit does look pretty cool though. If she had the ability to jam nearby enemy mini maps that would be a huge plus or stealth her and nearby team mates for a short duration from all the spotting abilities. Paik currently is just boring and lacking real useful ability. Needs reworked to match the usefulness of other specialists.
Boris spots with turret.
Casper spots with drone.
Rao spots with scans and hacks/kills
These 3 can constantly spot where Paik is limited to just whatever is just nearby for 8 seconds then cool down for a minute.
Paik and dozer are probably the leakest links of the group. Only reason I like dozer is he makes me laugh. If you can get a small group of dozers that's even funnier.

Paik is scanning with a bubble around here which can help in buildings and can fight at this moment

-Casper drone need line of sight and you control it directly so you can’t fight
-Rao need to hack first and can't fight when hacking
as is said * and pros and each specialist is for a different playstyle
it fits not your playstyle ore the situation than don't use here and choose another one - @CountSero Caspers drone does not need to be used directly. Typically I'll fly it over the objective and leave it hovering up above. The drone will spot on its own. Takes me a few seconds and I'm done. If it gets shot down I'll put up another one. But typically it doesn't get shot since it doesn't have C5 on it.
2042 is a large open battlefield for most of the objectives. Paik just doesn't fit into the game. Has nothing to do with playstyle but instead overall usefulness and map layout.
If we had small indoor maps then paik would be useful but I doubt we will have those maps in 2042. Manifest is probably the most ideal map for her ability. But it's also the best map for Mackay and his grapple hook.
DICE might want to rework Paik completely anyways since I'm told her ability resembles wall hack. That alone could discourage people from playing her. Imagine getting banned after playing paik because people reported you for hacking when all you did was use her scan spotting ability? LOL

- @theCrazyOnes I think its fit in very well and if she where over powered, all player would consider to play here but this is not the case
and on very map you can use her, they all have zones in which she is use full
and parking Casper’s drone end most of the time that it gets destroyed (I usually destroy it when I see a drone not moving)
also, it spots only when the enemy gets into the main focus, when five players running thru maybe two gets spotted.
at the moment the proximity sensor outplays the drone, so when you not active moving the drone for spotting your lucky to get one or two spots in 5-10 minutes
So I don't see that a rework is needed here
gl & hf on the Battlefield yeah specialist system is total disasters
Paik is useful in all maps. You don't have to be playing operation metro to take advantage of a wall hack.
- @Tank2042Man 90% of the time everyone is out in plain site. Lol. You just have to use your eyes and there's always 3 to 5 Casper drones out and proxy balls everywhere on top of that. A quick glance at the mini map and you can see a few red dots moving or a ton.
