Re: From BF1 to BF2042, the GPU cannot be fully utilized due the CPU usage too high

@CoolWLKK PS4 uses much lower graphics settings. That's a fact. Look up comparison videos on YouTube if you don't believe me...

They did it with BF4, they did it with this game. When you have overlaping console generations, these games will always come out on both gens, that's how it works my guy. This is business.

And stop comparing BF to other games. BF is one of the few franchises that take your hardware and spit it out in shambles. It uses AVX, it has top tier graphics and 128 players all at the same time. Few games can match this level of hardware stress.

@UP_LordPlumber I can't talk about it in this forum every day, bcz I already know the answer, this is certainly not a problem that the community can solve, either I change the CPU, or the development team chooses to lower the minimum system requirements, we can't always ask the game to be better, maybe in the future they will consider Ryzen™ 3 3100 or i3 10100 as the minimum CPU, and then they can "reduce the quality" of the game without guilt "so that others can play Battlefield with Steam Deck" or something.
I've actually been against the 128-player mode, but seriously, well, it's really hard for me to imagine that I have to accept this fact, bcz most people feel that this is how it should be, and that even if there is little improve, it should not be criticized; I've always been against raising the minimum system requirements again, at least in recent years, but u guys re happy to see the minimum going up all the time, im putty sure if u guys do have to travel long distances one day, you'll lament how hard it is to find a video game to play.

@UP_LordPlumber I'm really tired, I don't even want to think about buying a gaming PC, buying an XBOX Series S can saves me more energy. I'll keep following BF games in the future, just bcz I'm curious why so many people don't want to admit that games are indeed need more requirements but the quality hasn't gone up, and im not the COD or BF fans, im just a player want to tell what i think.

@CoolWLKK The only way to reduce CPU stress is lower the player count or the response rate. People won't accept reduced played numbers below 64.

Reducing response rate also means people will get mad because net code, hit registration etc will go down the drain.

Look at BF4. People begged Dice to increase server tick rate because hit registration has been abysmal for 2 games in a row.

So there aren't many options Dice can take, and all of them involve pissing off major part of the community
