G-84 can fly right through a target. Even momentarily blanking the screen.
Certainly feels unfair, certainly not ideal, but if it affects both sides I don't know either group can claim this as a point of 'unfairness'.

@AngrySquid270Ofc not, but its sweatier to dodge that missile than hitting with one. Also i get much higher penalty/punishment based on a visual lie. There is the difference.

I dont think the visual appearance of the missile missing yet it hits is a missile problem (happens the other way too, from attacker perspective it appears that the missile hits but just flys through helo with no detonation). That appears to be a net code/hit box issue.
It happens a lot for infantry too (getting shot around corners, unloading a mag into someone etc)
Pretty sure those things are net code/lag
- Man_iLoveFishing3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Psubond Ofc its problem. Net code is to blame. It's same issue dying behind corner but its just one flies 10m by and still hits. Based on that information you calculate your movement and counter measures. Problem is, when they boosted velocity, it goes even further off.
- Psubond3 years agoLegend@Man_iLoveFishing and the problem gets even bigger when you can't know from game to game if you need to lead the target , aim at the target or trail the target. there's only one hit box for the helo, but how does one know where to aim with the netcode. before adjusting the missile they need to sort their netcode because it is super inconsistent from game to game in determining where one needs to aim to hit the helo or for the helo pilots how to jink to evade. the server thinks the helo is in one place, the local client thinks it's somewhere else and the delta isn't consistent.

Best part is, when Liz on my screen misses and suddenly i get shot, i get that t-bag that actually sometimes makes my teeth grind. Feels stupid.
