Hi, even if "Battlefield" is based on the future, there is no need for a Jetpack at all. I have nothing against it, but it would somehow makes the "Grapple Hook" useless on later ranks. Fun fact: Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII was also using jet packs but BF2142 not. May instead of a gadget maybe as a "Vehicle" or something? Or as "special" Gadget for a specialist?

But don’t worry, you will now have that ability to use the device on your hologram arm to recharge your teammates’ jet pack a whole lot faster for only 15 seconds! Your teammates won’t have to worry about waiting for their jet packs to recharge for a couple of seconds. It will remain miscellaneous for 15 seconds until the Jet Pack Recharger needs to be recharged. For all the feature ideas for Battlefield 2042, what do you guys think of these ideas? Well everything else is working on your "Character Abilities". I think that DICE would have already said something about it if they implement such a feature. I saw this on other well known Shooters, it can work yes but I am no fan of this at all. Battlefield 4, Battlefield V was using some sort of perk system, it was more "passive" so you was using it without to activate it first. The Idea with your shield for an example, can't work neither because it seems we get the "Shield" as Gadget (Specialist) /Weapon(?).
