Re: Games vs. Movies and the problem of replicas
There is an abundance of gadgets, accessories, add-on cosmetics, which the players can use to customize their own 'specialists' in infinite number of ways.
In aka BF4, i didnt see much of a problem with the 4 solder types that we had there. Which again each had the option to select among 5 different specialists.
Like the Assault soldier type could be one of the following specialists:
Offensive,
Defensive,
Shadow
Combat medic, or
Grenadier.
And for the enemy replicas?
Many movies seem to succeed despite the copy and paste of identical villains, like SW - Clone Wars and The Matrix, so dont see a big problem there either.
I never really do much deep study of the enemies and their facial features anyway in the game in which I am set up to combat.
So buckle up Rick Deckard,
It's time for us to go bounty hunting and eliminate those pesky Nexus androids in the post-apocalyptic 2042-dystopian world! :o)
