- TankerFlanker5 years agoSeasoned Ace@ElliotLH Idk but I'm gonna certainly try now, I'm wondering if you can just stay hanging or does it instantly reel you in when you latch onto something.
 - ElliotLH5 years agoHero+@TankerFlanker You and me both. That'd make a great Only in Battlefield moment. It'll be interesting to see whether it'll be possible to hang around with it. I'm leaning more towards it automatically reeling you in, just because that's how I remember grappling hooks working other in games.
 - @ElliotLH I don't want it to be automatic I would like to able go up or down.

Or even keeping it static, while using our weapons! 👍
- ElliotLH5 years agoHero+@DingoKillr Yeah I'd prefer a manual system as well. Think the last game I played with a grappling hook was Dying Light, and that was automatic, so it'd be nice if the one in BF2042 works differently.
 - TankerFlanker5 years agoSeasoned Ace@ElliotLH I had a thought, if there will be water on some maps and hopefully in a future naval warfare type map a grapple hook + jet skis when latching onto boats.
 - ElliotLH5 years agoHero+@TankerFlanker That would be fantastic.

hehe you were thinking wave-rider I was thinking S.E.A.L.
Sneaking ashore underwater via a towed-ride .
Maybe . . . they give the rope a big ol' Hitbox .
You know , to Up the Fails . - TankerFlanker5 years agoSeasoned Ace@tempo_rarity Yes I was, both would be pretty cool approaches using it while in the water, if it works the way some of us hope it will.
