Re: Harsh remarks can impact a developers mental health

Ive never heard so much rubbish in my life.

Its simple the level of anger is equal to the amount of passion ppl have for this franchise , ppl have invested many hours in the bf games over the years and to see the franchise go in this direction it has is very frustrating , disappointing , and quite frankly sad.

Personally I've given up now, why bother when you're met with a wall of ppl in the forum trying to tell that your disappointment isn't valid or you shouldn't have an opinion because they like the game or because they've played the franchise longer . whether you like the game or not you know there's something wrong with the game otherwise ppl wouldn't be ditching the game in the numbers they have, That is the evidence that this title is heavily flawed without people coming in here complaining or 'moaning' as others like to frame it.

EA are the Devs employer its their responsibility to look after their employees mental health, hell they have got plenty of money to do that thanks to us.

On a side note my attached pic , i bought every title on launch. I remember each one with their various issues but aside from that i was happy to wait to get a battlefield experience, I could see what dice where aiming for even if the game was broken. well i can see what they are aiming for with this title as well and it isn't a traditional battlefield experience. No doubt someone will  be along to contradict me but tbh you will be wasting your breath because i simply do not care any more 🙂

@v_Junglist_v I agree it's not a battlefield experience. My issue was they advertised it as one.

@Kyosji This, false advertisings = backlash, maybe they could use a wake up call about lieing to their customers

@v_Junglist_v no one is saying that your dissapointment isn't valid, most people just don't care. same as the fact that the devs likely don't care. some people will be happy with the game, some won't. you can't please everyone so there is no point in getting worked up because someone said mean things about your work on a forum. there are a lot bigger problems in the world for me to get worked up about than if a game is perfect.
  • People have in a way voted with their wallets, people have fled this game and to be honest that should have been more than enough for EA to realise that in  a consumer market you give the customer what they  want............ this  SHOULD be common sense.

For instance, im a builder,  if a customer paid me to fit  a kitchen they wanted  and i decided  to instead fit a kitchen that  i  liked or wanted to fit, what do you  suppose the outcome would be?

I dont  know, is it  arrogance  that make EA believe they  can impose changes  that nobody really wanted?

The community at large is toxic as hell but to be fair this game sux, they have a right to be

Ea need to reconnect with the people that actually keep  them in jobs...........

I would like to add that people should have grown to not be suprised at EA rushing games out of the door.

This was the case at least since Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun (released at 1999).
