@loveubf Farming is only “part of the game” in MMORPGs and other similar RNG-based “loot” games… not FPS games.

It was a terrible idea to permit Portal to count toward AOW progression in the first place. Easy answer would be a separate progression within Portal to reflect the original games.

not everyone wants to play online, so you think those people shouldn't be allowed to unlock anything?

they could implement something like BO1 did while playing against bots you progressed through the unlocks as normal but it was separate from the main online progression.
also, who is playing bf in 2021 and not playing online???

@zCOACHz If you play Portal you can configure your Portal experience to have everything unlocked. I think actually, this is even the default (played Rush on BFBC2 and Conquest for BF3 and had access to all weapons and attachemnts).

Then why have exp? And exp you need to farm for levels to unlock things

Portal also still not working. Game was marketed that since day 1 we can fully progress everywhere. It worked 1 day of early access only! I dont care about bot farming excuse. People farming proxy nades and drones in regular AoW all the time and nobody cares anyway.
