@badcuztremysaidI think that it should just be removed from the game. It’s so inconsistent and odd. Sometimes it’ll actually spot someone for me, but most of the time it’ll map random people, won’t help me in a fight, or wander aimlessly.

The range on it is ridiculous at times. It’ll shoot at me like 300 yards away! Other times it completely ignores me.

It’s a failed experiment in my opinion. Just remove it from the game. All of like three people will actually miss it.

They obviously had some plans that were scrapped for "Drones". We have an entire category for the Ranger. DICE was clearly going to add more.
It makes sense if the Ranger had some class-specific capability. I was thinking it could carry medpacks, ammo, shoulder-fired ammo, and have a explosive detection system (based on class).

I really hate Ranger... AI help is ridiculous.
Borris turrets... At least they do not ned 3 full assaut riffle clips to be destroyed.
Why giving some players an AI for free spoting and free kills ?
It's unfair.
And it's really anoying (won't say more) to be killed like this.
AI killing machines should not exist in a multiplayer game in my opinion.
But i would consider drones for amunitions (light Angel crate) or health packs. A drone grabing a fallen teammate to take him back to cover soo medic can revive him... might be fun.

I have bare bones access to the ranger since launch i have been able to use it a handful of times.
My whole account has been restricted it seem's have to re-apply attachments etc every game.
EA/DICE reply is you have access not interested
So i presume because i have called them out on the lies my account is restricted!!
As every game connection is 3 red squares overlapped top left hand corner.
Before you ask no i do not use a vpn like most streamers to get a advantage
