@CantGetRightYou and I have had very different experiences then. Like i said, squad play began to erode starting with Bad Company. BF2142 is the last game that had a legit command structure, working in game mics, etc and everyone playing within that structure. BF2 for sure had that, so I don't know what you're talking about there. BF3 and BF4? Not so much but still more than in BF2042.

And speaking of mics...we HAVE NO IN GAME MICS!! LOL!! How are we going to have any measure of squad cohesion with randoms without mics?

    Gotta love EA's response to Tom's video.

    “We are serious about Battlefield. EA is investing significant time and resources into Battlefield 2042 and the long-term success of the franchise. Rebecka Coutaz, will take over as the General Manager of DICE, and work closely with Christian Grass at Ripple Effect Studios and Marcus Lehto who is building a new studio in the Seattle area focused on Battlefield. Also, Alex Seropian and his team at Industrial Toys continue their work on Battlefield Mobile. We will continue to grow and improve Battlefield 2042 as it is the foundation for the future of this franchise. We have the right leaders in place and we’re investing in the teams and resources to capture Battlefield’s massive potential.”

    @StormyDanieIs Was this a direct response? I think this is just their general press release from last week right? Either way...I'm tired of these live service games showing up broke and expecting to drag me out for who knows how long to fix it...or wait for all this new direction stuff to happen.

    RIP Battlefield

    Having 2042 as the franchises foundation will be the franchises downfall. The majority have spoken and they are doubling down shoving their twisted vision of what a Battlefield game should be down our throats.
