Is it like half price now? (steam seems to still ask full price to me (I got it on origin))
This is not a game that you should pay a full price on.

But it is fine if steam is offering it  to you for a good discount.

The game is a lot better now and the crashes etc stopped long ago for me.
It is just that it does not yet have all the features a good BF series game has like platoon support.

BF2042 is basically still on the journey to became the game it should had been at launch if it had from the start the right direction and development time.

It seems to be going in a very good direction but we have not yet have any promises beyond season 5
