Re: Is it ever going to be a real BATTLEFIELD game

@sk1lldThe scoreboard wasn't needed because it tells people to focus more on that than team score.

@DPsx7I always use the scoreboard and I'm so glad they brought it back. The "scoreboard" at launch was an abomination. And I'm always capturing 10 objectives minimum per game. So your statement is very false by my own experience.

Also they should consider to bring back the standard map rotation and the classic multiplayer server option, so we can choose which map to play..

Now when we cancel connecting to a map we dont want and search again for other map, it always choose the SAME map !!

    Very disturbing !!!

  • Ohh and dont forget those helis and tanks..

Bring to community an indoor infantry map, so we get rid those spammers.

@S3SSioN_SoL Nope, I was right. Removing the scoreboard meant players could focus on the team score rather than their own. Those stats were available on a tracker if you wanted to measure your progress.

But like most things added since launch, it's been dragging this game backwards into trash. Too many people are focused on useless features solely because they were in a previous game. BF can evolve and lose some fluff for the sake of good gameplay. I'll just watch the numbers keep dropping though. Ya'll are so wrong.

Battlefield as a series sadly got worse and worse for overall online experience since BF3. Right around the time the series started trying to draw in more and more COD-pedigree players. The games themselves have worked fine for the most part and can be fun, but the players. Dear God, the player quality has just bombed. When I think back to BF2, or even BC2, the level of teamwork was so far beyond what we experience now. Now its all lone wolves or twitch players trying to score clout for views and clips. Or hackers because the EAC is utterly atrocious compared with previous anti-cheat systems. I remember when you used to encounter the odd blatant aimbot. Now it seems like its wallhackers just trying to slip under the radar as long as possible, and they never get caught.

Lack of server browser is a big aspect, but also lack of ping counter. I have no idea what country I'm being linked into for a server, or where my opponents are coming from.

But don't worry, the wishy-washy Youtubers will tell us all where to take the series next, and DICE will end up listening to them again and pull us even further into the black hole. Okay for the Youtubers, though. I dunno where some of them manage to find their servers, but they seem to have zero ping whatsoever. Fun for them, i guess.
