Re: Just remove the tanks from the game, honestly.

@UP_HawxxeyeAgreed. I still think BFV had one of the better systems in place. Vehicles felt strong and felt like true tanks that could take multiple hits BUT they also could have parts disabled properly thus your positioning of your tank mattered. It made for a good foundation to create multiple ways to balance it and was quite dynamic.
I hate hitting the tracks of tanks in 2042, see "part disabled," and the tank still moves full speed. I would be fine if tanks were a bit "tankier" if this mechanic actually played a role.honestly while I do not mind the idea of rewarding positioning, I believe that everything else was done wrong with the BFV tanks:
A gunner seat that is deadly to the user more often than the target (Oh hi please snipe me)
Super heavy clucky movement
Super slow turret turning
Poor vertical cannon angle.
Extremely dull resupply mechanic
In a game where the soldiers were temporarily violating the law of friction at will (uphill knee slide) and regenerate like vampires.
3 of these carried over to 2042
Completely agree. On the tank movement, I would just grin and bear it in BF1/V because “ok, it’s supposed to be WW1/2 technology” but the fact that they feel slower and more sluggish than BF4 but this is supposed to be 2042 is ridiculous. Honestly, the same applies to fully exposed positions in the tank and the Bolte (or any other vehicle, really). Modern military has been doing more things “by wire” to protect soldiers for years, but somehow in a game set 20 years from now we have wide open turrets.
