Hey guys, XIM Apex working with 2042 for the XIM creators making new add-on device (cheap, $40 is the speculation).

They are shipping out units to distributors and main testers now.

Looks like the future of XIM will continue to be successful and allow me to play on the device(s) *I*  want to play on.

I had to make a refund for the PC version due to poor optimization. Now I play from PS5 with two of my friends, they use Xbox series s and x. We played for two days and did several kills per map - this is ridiculous. Thought the problem was in our low skill, despite our rich experience (PC) in the BF series in past. Yesterday was the last straw. We decided to leave the game until better times, until the developers add the ability to use  keyboard and mouse. Now I don\t get any joy from the game, it is unbearable and unplayable, unfortunately.

It is NOT cheating if they add MnK support natively.

I'm not familiar with XIM Apex but I'm a long old user of XIM4 which I used to use for BF4 in PS4 (and Eagle Eye in PS3). Those adapters were just translators for the Dual Shock controller, it didn't add any type of assistance. In fact, they MUST be configured with the controller aim assist OFF in order to have a proper user experience. They did pretty well vs native MnK support. I also tried the XIM4 for Warzone before knowing that the game supported MnK natively (after playing it for a few days), and that was the end of my XIM4, sold it along my PS4-Pro when I was able to buy the PS5.

Long story short, if native MnK support is NOT added to the game will result in more and more of this devices, some of which (like Cronus) add assistance and macros, etc. and those type of things ARE considered CHEATS.

And besides, in WZ, which is the game that more cheaters had in the present titles, 90% of the cheaters ARE on PC so...  NATIVE MnK SUPPORT FOR CONSOLES

@CofranOPCI mean cronus xim you play in controller lobby for me is cheating  native support kbm for consoles is what this game need for proper balance in multiplayer with crossplay enabled 🙂 🙂

Well yeah, totally agree.. but if we don't have a choice, many will buy another adapter whenever is available, and I bet it wont be long.

It's the same discussion as adding support for joystick to fly a jet or a heli.

With all the cross-generations and cross-play environment that we have today, all the platforms MUST have all the inputs available. PC players can play with an X-Box controller.. props to them cuz for me it's just impossible, and so that is a fair and balanced experience for a cross-play lobbie. But we miss the other side of the coin, being able to play against PC players, with cross-play with MnK in consoles, that is NOT fair at all

I'm starting to believe that DICE made this game for PC ONLY, and then added Console support making a "free-for-all" type of thing.

Add in mouse and keyboard support for consoles. 

@CofranOPCThis. While xim is considered cheating, people WILL start to use it primarily to play the game with a M&K. And because they paid a good amount for the device they are just going to turn on aim assist and dominate in controller only lobbies. Adding native M&K support would be doing a favor to the controller players out there but no.. "M&K gives advantage against a controller in a majorly PC players lobby"... their stance on this matter is so perplexing. As if they don't know what they are saying anymore.

I really hope the devs think for themselves and add this support. I have a lot of respect for them which is why I don't yell at them as much as I yell at other people. All things aside they did their best with the game and I respect that.

I'll kindly bump until the devs finally take notice of this. I want them to add mouse and keyboard support.
