warzone has this basic functionality and it is FREE!!! Why can't we get the same options on a game that I actually want to play?!

after that I conclude that at the last moment they cut kbm on consoles my screenshot from the ps5 box version without updating
- @ZjemCiKolege I wonder if they are planning to drop it as a new feature as if they are doing us this giant favor instead of the fact that they were planning to do it all along? I mean people have posted snips from the EA store showing the game with console KB&M support listed from the start and then they removed it.
I'm not one to get involved with complaints like this but this just seems like such a colossal mistake on a game with so much promise, that I had to sign up and say something. If the Dev's would just speak up and provide a little insight into what the plan is(or isn't) I'd wait patiently or move on. Hell I went as far as spamming TimTheTatman's chat yesterday trying to get him to use his influence to help get EA/Dice's attention but I couldn't get through. - @SmasherBrown0654 Yes Sir I have signed, Glad someone took the time to create that.

I think it's clear now they had native keyboard and mouse for consoles. For some reason they opted out. Day 1 patch just came out and we will see a day 10 and day 25 patch. The day 25 patch according to EA it's a substancial patch to cover things left behind the game..hope that we will get mouse and keyboard support in that patch just in time before christmas!
Yes they DID have (atleast) support for keyboard in the Beta bc I could use it on my Xsx. Ingame and in the menus. Even the ui and hud changed if I switched between controller and keyboard. Mouse did'nt work however
Ea Answers staff have sent me a PM, warned me about the terms of conditions of posting and removed my posts with the link to the keyboard and mouse petition for consoles, stating it was a petition to ‘boycott’. Nice to see that’s how they solve their problems and listen to paying customers feedback.
I'm going to keep using my Xim until they enable raw mouse input on console.
- @SmasherBrown0654 I mean I guess it's good that someone from the forums read your post, but obviously didn't click the link to see it's the opposite of a boycott petition. It's a request to change the game to make it more accessible and fun for console players(which would likely make them more money).

I'm gonna say this. Activision's MW 2019 game straight up gave us mouse and keyboard support for people who play the game on consoles which is nice. It's no different than if EA does it too with BF2042. Come on now. Just give us the option to use mouse and keyboard on consoles.

- @ZjemCiKolege This is a very interesting discovery. I don't know what it means for the future. The menu looks unfinished but it could either mean it was cut early on or they didn't have time to fix it. I really hope they reconsider their decision and add this support. Forcing crossplay is probably the easiest way for dice to maintain balance and remove input disparity.
@Xemplefied Absolutely true. MW nailed it at launch and probably the biggest reason people on console enjoyed it including me..
But I would say Fortnite is the “Game changer” to implement this first and settled the ground with input based matchmaking..Later other games followed through !!The only reason am still hesitant on EA whether they will add M&K is, they didn’t do it on Apex legends.
Still if you play along with any of your friends from PC, they put you in a PC lobby without mkb…I don’t know much about Respawn and Dice, but since they all comes under EA worries me a bit.
