Absolutely @steeveaki , I struggle with controller on FPS games as I my fingers and thumbs aren't what they used to be. By adding m&kB it would make my gaming so much better. EA could be seen as discriminating against people with disabilities too.

    Still beating this dead horse huh you'd think most of you STILL complaining about this would have got 2042 on PC already, and probably more than half of the people commenting in this are people who DON'T want M&K on consoles and those who do who have just repeated the same thing over and over hundreds of times. I'm on the side of don't add M&K or to any other future Battlefield title because that will ensure that I don't buy it.

    Adding crossplay with PC was a mistake in the first place and crossplay should have only ever been between PlayStation and Xbox only. Half of the people complaining wanting it are just wanting to go against PC players having it 'fair', so no PC in the crossplay no need for M&K on console pretty much.

    Edit: I also love the people that say CoD and FN have m&k, they also have a lot of cheaters just because they're crossplay WITH PC, and there is a ton of people who would rather have no crossplay with PC with fortnite because the PC players have the advantage. I'd say the same for CoD during MW I got quite a few message sof people I had reported were banned which I'm guessing was a majority of PC players.

    @TankerFlanker You know that you are free to choose? No one forces you to use M&K if this setting is implemented in the console version. And we are also people writing here that still haven't bought the game, because of this lacking feature (btw this is my second post).

    Also, just a thought. If you would like to try cross-play between consoles only, then this is possible if you install the PS4/XboxOne version of the game:

    “Players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can play with and against each other, but not with players on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S - even with cross-play turned on.”

    @TankerFlanker Daddy chill!

    it's not the end of the world for this feature - plus we are just asking for options to give input-based matchmaking, the point is if there is a way that people can handle this kinda scenario, then it should be available, and have fun brother - don't take everything by heart so seriously.

    This isn't a complaint , it's a request to give everyone a level playing field . Perhaps some people cant afford to buy a PC with the specs that are required to run 2042?

    EA say they read all the comments and act on them through updates. Well as you say we've raised this topic hundreds of times , and yet we still wait in hope.

    So like it or not my friend , us console players are still asking.  🙂

    @TankerFlanker , sorry but I don't think you have a good point here.

    As any platform today offers mouse and keyboard support, there's no logic to choose the platform, just to be able to play using such resource.

    As all platforms does supports M/K, the game title/developer just need to implement the feature to attend both platforms equally.

    By the other hand, I agree it's an option for the user, choose to play with people who plays on the gamepad only. But it needs to be an option and never something imposed because just a lack of the feature implementation.

    Also, mouse and keyboard support for FPS games is a standard and not a special feature. So add or not to add such support, seems to me like a nonsense discuss, sorry!
