Proximity balls should only be allowed for sniper setups, as a sniper myself I find myself pushing objectives more so can get my proximity balls down to help my team. As it is everyone has them so they are all over the place so everyone is pretty much permanently spotted on the mini-map which gives the game much more of an arcade type feel.
