It's been already confirmed that you can play either Solo or with a full Squad of friends against a full enemy team of AI soldiers (aka Bots) and the rest of your team can/will also be filled up with Bots.
So if you play on PC or next gen consoles, and those platforms are made for 128 player matches, it'll stay that size. No matter if u play normal PvP matches or only with Bots.
Wouldn't make sense to make it smaller just cause it's Bots. 😉

It's working different with the AI soldiers (Bots), it's already been confirmed by DICE that they'll have like a "Bot Mode" included in the game were you can play completely solo against ONLY Bots being in the enemy team, and your team being filles with Bots too.
Or Coop with a squad of friends if you want too, but still the rest of your team and the enemy team will be filled with Bots then.
So they're not like only filling material for the regular PvP matches.

Yes I’m aware of that. My question is will the mode be limited to 64 bots instead of 128? There was an article released recently by The Verge that claims only 64 bots can be used in multiplayer at a time. My concern is will this carry over to the single player mode

Thanks so much! Just because I come from an area with bad internet so I’m not always able to play online, and sometimes I just want to test out new equipment. I still however would like to get the full 128 player experience with bots and not be limited to 64 on next gen
I noticed on the portal editor that for the conquest large maps for the 128 player maps I can’t fill them with 127 bots plus myself. Is this going to be the case upon release? If so that’s quite disappointing as I often wish for the full battlefield experience but without the sweat of playing against competitive players
That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about solo play where you just play with bots. Not standard multiplayer
