@Pompey_1983 I doubt that is the real issue. Because when you are in cover, your "dot" can't be seen. The real issue is, that all BF2042 maps barely provide any cover. So you are more or less always in the open.
That is the real reason why you can't sneak up on an objective, because you have to move over an open, uncluttered field, where cover to cover moves are not possible.
