But at the point when a map is reworked, there ain't no way to play the old version anymore.

Also the whole AI topic is quite difficult, as they most likely won't do any new big changes to the AI.

In the Portal settings you can change inbetween 3 different AI difficulties when enabling it.

Be aware tho, that enabling AI can bring some XP and progression restrictions with it.

Instead of using portal, you can also simply join a Solo/Coop game against AI. There you can also choose between the 3 difficulties of the AI before starting the server.

But also there you will face certain XP and progression restrictions.
