No there are not

What there are plenty of are bots like you who can't grasp the idea that people get good at games and kick their butt

since i've been asked to state my case i will do so...
i have played 2042 since beta to my rising displeasure. let me start by saying in all this time i have maybe seen 4 cheaters i am sure of. i played one evening of BFV last weekend and from the 4 odd servers i hopped on 2 had people going 100+/0 on Operation Underground with the MG42..... so there is that.
my case for 2042 is the game simply runs so * poorly half the time you wouldn't even be able to tell if someone was cheating...

1.  we still have horrible TTK/TTD issues so you never know if you died due to a DMG hack or the game simply plastered you with a wonderful thing called super-bullets
2.  performance is so horrendous it can make one question if this game was sabotaged from within
3. spotting enemies in a huge circular radius around you for 10s and then getting them outline spotted trough whatever cover/smoke there is is essentailly an ingame wallhack. i do not care what you want to say it is simply what it is.
4. according to OP since Paik is now more balanced, all the "masking cheaters" should stick out like a sore thumb so if there really was a cheating problem it should become obvious
5. i still remember the post about a software seller site that stopped selling said software for 2042 simply because the game runs so bad said software would not work as intended..... so there is still that

are there cheaters in 2042 most definetly as they are in every PvP game under the moon no matter what.... but i doubt that every cheater was using Paik to "mask" their cheats.....

The ones complaining are sad they can't cheese through smoke or pre-fire every corner perfectly. Simply put Paik was the easiest operator to get kills with hands down, pick rates were 70% Paik for the new map and things needed to change.
