Re: People not PTFOing on Control : Why ?

These people that you are talking about more than likely do not play the objectives in any of the game modes that they join.  The developers should look at how turning the Battlefield series over the years into an XP collecting and challenge completion fest has negatively affected the basic competitive nature and the team play focus of the games.  No matter what the next Battlefield game is going to be.  It will probably be the same old story in every game mode as people still approach playing them with a "Me, me, me, and my personal progress is all that matters.  Forget the team"  mentality. 

I also think that it is a huge misconception that not playing the objectives is somehow okay to do in the large scale game modes when this is the furthest thing from the truth.  Most of the teams in the 64 and 128 game modes are terrible.  64 players on a team, 7 objectives and only one of them is under control in conquest for over ten minutes.  How?  This series should have explored ranked and tournament play a long time ago to provide a place for like minded players to be on the same servers.  Instead of trying to always make teams out of a bunch of players that are playing the game mode for different reasons.  Which always leads to unbalanced teams and one sided matches.
