@blazinfatherted9Dice just added TDM back into portal starting on Thursday, and they have reduced the number of "official" portal options from five to three, and they will rotate bi-weekly on Monday and Thursday. I think this is a good change as now we have more rotation chances for TDM, although I'm hoping this means TDM does not have to compete with five flavors of classic "Rush" modes in like in the past.

I would recommend that if you like TDM, just search out custom games in portal and there are a few hundred who consistently play TDM. You can add those servers to your favorite list. It is kind of cool seeing the same players often, and it is challenging as most of the players have higher gun skills than what you typically run up against in the 128 player modes because you main weapon is a gun, not the other 80 ways to kill another player that are not gun related...
