@ATFGunrAgreed. Particularly heavy tanks are suffering much more after 3.2. I don't see the problem with RAM because I can still out maneuver.
Heavy tanks did receive a minor increase in in turret speed. But the real issue is lack of maneuverability. Adding APS isn't enough when it takes 30 seconds to accellerate from stationary and/or reverse direction.
I feel the balance problem is primarily from the Javelin introduction. Anyone not already running Lis is most likely equipping Javelin. I know I'm able to be more effective against ground vehicles now.
I still maintain that the BFV design choice, attempting to introduce a more realistic tank movement, needs to be reconsidered. Its never worked well here. Proably some BFV-era developer was a WoT nerd and has been trying to force it ever since.
- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@DigitalHype They’ve created a balance though by making the characters who can run Jav as mostly useless. Liz can’t, Boris is the worst specialist in the game since the turret was nerfed to uselessness, so Irish is the only useful one… so not many people will run Jav. It’s an odd way to create balance 😂

I tried using the Jav and its very hard to get a kill, more like soften up the target, which maybe that is the expected result? Either way, when I did get a kill, it was rewarding which is what the game is supposed to do; however that said, the gadgets have all been nerfed to the point that those rare kills have become rarer still and I stopped using the Jav. The only stand off weapons which are never nerfed are vehicles, so your survival rate using Jav, Liz, etc is very low.
