Re: Portal is the future!

@Flavin913 Hey I didn't say EXACTLY lol. Literally Back to Karkand saved BF3 for me. I played it exclusively for a month or two straight after being bored of the liner a launch maps. I always felt Caspian Border was overrated.

Conquest of Ages sort of does the same for me. I never really played BF1942, so those maps are really fun with the heavy tank warfare. Arica Harbor and Valparaiso are awesome Bad Co 2 maps, maybe the two best. And yeah...more Caspian Border...lol

So yeah point taken lol

And I did try Hell Let Loose. Not for me really. Not enough cover and kept dying the instant I'd leave what cover there was....sort of like All Out Warfare in BF2042 when you think about it lol.

This statement is blasphemy! Maybe the problem is you and not the maps?
You ever take a second to see if the cost is clear, or ask for covering fire/squad support?
Maybe you need to wait up for your team?
There can't be cover everywhere! Honestly

And there's literally a specialists that can place cover anywhere!?

  • @Flavin913 I thought the coast was clear, but kept dying by enemies I'd never see lol Or sniped out. It's definitely a game of patience.
  • @TickTack121 Its still BF2042 under the hood, but it surprisingly retains the feel of the old games. Especially BF1942 and Bad Co 2. Really a great job. They could help themselves a lot in the short term by adding maps to Portal. And if they lean into BF2 and BF2142? What BF fan wouldn't want to at least check that out?
