If you can't see why your beloved gun is completely freaking broken, you're *.
Go test any weapon vs the PP29, and understand why it's BROKEN lol

What youre showing is bullets going where you aim, which is how it should be.
Are you able to comprehend that?
Having bullets randomly miss because of some RNG element added, is garbage.
The PP29 is working how all guns SHOULD work, without bloom
Other guns need to lose bloom so they can perform the same as the PP29.
We shouldn't have RNG elements added to our bullets. That only helps weak players get a kill, which is ridiculous.
We should be asking for other guns to get rid of their bloom, not add bloom to the PP29. That is completely backwards.
Stop dumbing games down with BS like random bullet deviation.
Use it more. Get some unlocks for it, such as the suppressors. If you think you might be engaging at range more often, such as on the really large maps with lots of dead space like Hourglass, fit the extended barrel to it for greater long-range accuracy.
It's an absolute monster. The reason people are complaining about it now is that everyone has hit the rank to unlock it and found that it's basically the best all-round gun. I expect the forums to really light up from Friday when the Standard Edition owners (whom I assume are more numerous than the Gold/Ultimate Edition owners) get the game and get absolutely wrecked, repeatedly, by more experienced players who've adapted to the new mechanics and have a fully decked-out PP-29 along with it.
Most other guns in the game are, to a greater or lesser extent, situational; the PP-29 is not. It doesn't have the best stats in any one area, but it has a huge mag, great stability and good range. I've taken down entire squads with it, and the same has happened to me and my squad.
@cng82the pp-29 needs more recoil and the ar's are perfectly fine how it is with how the recoil is, it's just that the pp-29 is a lazer and it needs a nerf, in recoil and bullet dropoff
Personally, I think the PP-29 is slightly overpowered because of the mag size. In terms of pure performance I think its fine. I regularly out gun and get out gunned by the dmr's at close range. I do think the AR's need a slight buff tho
@cng82but that's why the pp-29 needs more recoil than the rest, it's to balance the mag size with the recoil, you need a reason to use each gun, you want more fire rate you get less bullets like the vac, you want good recoil you get more damage drop off, you want a bigger mag you get more recoil, it's to give each gun a different reason for every player to pick it, if every gun had a buff then you'll get to a point that you die in 2-5 shots with near to no recoil and it'll make the game boring.
The PP-29 is fun to use and It’s how guns should feel. Other guns should be balanced around it.
If anything AR’s should be buffed by reducing the spread. Why on earth anyone wants more recoil is beyond me. High recoil just makes games not fun to play.
SMG’s should have very accurate hip fire and win fights up close. Assault rifles should be the best for mid range engagements.

@cng82yeah i mean i think the ar's are completely fine, if the bloom wasn't such a big thing then i don't see an issue with the ar's damage and recoil as it's perfect but dmr's the fact it kills everyone in 2 shots from any range and 1 shot in the head whilst the snipers does the exact same thing is broken.. and the fact the pp-29 can out perform any ar even if bloom wasn't a thing is stupid, needs to be nerfed and match the rest of the smg's.
Bloom is the issue with ARs and LMGs once it's fixed, people will move away from the PP.
Removing PP now means everyone uses DMR. And locking DMR means people will quit because of bloom making all other guns RNG fest's.
They can add randomness to recoil like in BFV (BFV has random horisontal recoil), in BFV you always feel like the bullet goes where the gun points.
The big problem is that spread/bloom feels weird, with some added random recoil instead you visually can see, that you should stop firing to regain control of your aim.
BFV did this pretty well.
@RaginSamI know that BFV has some spread, but they have minimized it so much that you don't really notice it, and mostly use some recoil (including some randomness to horisontal recoil) for limiting guns range.
The same should be done to BF2042.
The guns feel fine in BFV, why they would go back to BF4/BF1 spread-mechanics, just seems strange.
Personally showing spread by tracer rounds is not very intuitive (and looks awful on screen), moving the guns aim seems much more "natural".
