Ok that seemed to work. He checked the game details in the store and now it shows the game as being purchased on his account.

I'm a bit concerned about the same issue.

I pre-ordered BF2042 while on my PS4.

Have now got a PS5 and don't think it has picked up that my profile is now using a new gen console.

The pre-order graphic in my game library shows only the "PS4" tag not the "PS4 and PS5" tag that the other cross gen titles show.

Downloaded the BF2042 beta yesterday and it still shows the "PS4" tag and not a "PS5" tag.

I also have PS5 games download onto the console storage destination and am using an external drive destination for new PS4 games to download to that had all my PS4 games on it via USB.

The BF2042 beta has downloaded onto the external drive and not the internal one as a PS5 game should have.

I've restored the licenses and have now moved the download from the external drive into the internal storage but I don't think this is going to resolve this.

Guess I'll see in a few minutes whether I can play 128 players or not.

EDIT : Nope. Limited to 64 players. Seems I'm stuck with the PS4 version on my PS5.

@Kaptyn027 did you pre-order the Gold or Ultimate edition back then? (which is the Cross-gen bundle)

Or just pre-ordered later the standard edition (but as bundle)?

Cause recently they also made a Cross-gen bundle for the standard edition too.

You made sure you didn't just pre-order the standard edition for PS4 only?

For the Beta tho, there are two Beta versions in the store if you seach for "Battlefield 2042", a PS4 and a PS5 version. Make sure you downloaded the right one to your PS5.
