When where at it, i also want to share with you what i see in my crystal ball.
They disabled the progression against bots because people where exploiting in portal. The way the game is coded it means it turned off in all game modes (even against the server fill bots in mp won't count (i guess).
Since there is no easy way to enable bot progression in one mode without enabling it in the other modes as well, they leave it turned off. They won't re-enable it before they have a fix for the portal exploiting issue.
Once portal is fixed, solos will be good again as well.
That's all i see in my imaginary crystal ball.
Little message to EA: do you remember the time when you just reset accounts from exploiting/boosting players instead of punishing a full community of legit players?
- @OtherCH If that is what is to happen, and to go along with what I said before, DICE dont like fixing actual issues, they "fix" non-issues most of the time, the boris skin comes to mind, who knows how long they are gonna sit on the portal boosting issue because it is a relatively small number of people that play co-op and we are the only people actually saying this is an issue, the cash cow is in the AOW multiplayer, hazard zone and co op are an after thought
