Not nice of them to take away the last game mode that didn't need endless waiting to start.
Why not make it a 32 player start while at it?

@RanzigeRidder2 It does feel like a strange thing to do, and could potentially have a negative effect for some regions where people already struggle to find populated matches.

100% agree, this will only make a bad situation worse.

Imho the decision to increase the required player numbers should be reversed.

@ElliotLH This is the number 1 issue for those of us outside US/EU. I will need to assure myself I can easily play the new BF before I will consider buying this game.
