The Armor plates are basically a temporary Bullets to kill change that is inconsistent because it applies to only some people.
Like every BTK change is also disproportionately impacts low RoF weapons
@Skill4Reel
In case you do know know, the armor piercing rounds already have lower damage than the other rounds which will negate any benefit they have on armored targets. They are meant only for damaging vehicles.Check out Symthic for comparisons https://sym.gg
- @Skill4Reel These are for armor VEHICLES, not armor worn by ground units
- UP_Hawxxeye3 years agoLegend@Padding_Ur_Stats yes and so they specifically do less damage to infantry in order to not become anti-everything bullets 😉
@UP_HawxxeyeI always forget that there is ammunition that damages vehicles in these games.
Edit: Isn't a headshot still almost instant death on a player with the armor plates? Also I am still not convinced by anything that I have experienced that the health buff is egregious.

If only there had been this much 'passion' against armour perks in previous titles they might not have been included here.
Just saying.....

@Skill4ReelWe just yesterday some testing with @Metal_Daryl97
We concluded that while armor reduces headshot damage, that the shots from a bolt action rifle to the head will always do enough damage to outright kill anyone.The minimum damage of a BA rifle is 60 which with the multiplier is at least 120 which is exactly enough for sending Angel to Hell.
