So the core of what im getting from what you wrote is that the specialists make the game more unpredictable which necessitates greater situational awareness. 

Battlefield hasnt really had a "frontline" that protected your six since they heyday of rush.  I think that unpredictable aspect fits well with battlefield since it has always been more of a thinking mans shooter than a twitch shooter.  You have to watch your back and look up right.  Putting specialists in classes wont change that.  Mckay will still have his hook and sundance wil still have her wingsuit (and i dont use either of them).   Removing freedom of gadgets will just screw people who have used the loadouts they want since launch

The only people i see getting upset about gadget freedom are vehicle mains who want to be invincible and farm infantry without getting shot at.

  • @伪邦德 Why do you object to classification and return to the previous battlefield? Because you've accepted that it's a big escape game. For example, apex, hero (expert), skill (skill), plus any equipment in 2042 (danger zone), I can hardly disagree that it is right to do so. However, the game itself must be classified, because it is a battlefield of 64 to 128 people. Haven't you met the infinite air defense man who chooses Angel + AA? Haven't you met the infinite sniper with expert + sniper gun + supply box in the rear? Haven't you met the C5 UAV composed of Caspar + C5? I won't list many more. Because this is the breakdown of the game mechanism caused by excessive indulgence. After the firearms are roughly classified and equipped, there will be no such vicious playing method. I know that everyone is selfish, but as most players who play BF, isn't teamwork well known? Of course, if you want to be a lone wolf player, BF never says no. However, no matter how single wolf, there are restrictions. You said the sniper hiding at the top of the mountain. Do you think about why there is such a sniper? Because snipers can bring supply boxes! You can snipe the whole game! If classified, he has to ask his teammates to cooperate. This can weaken the vicious play and enhance the cooperative play to a certain extent. If you want unlimited AA, you must let your teammates cooperate. Think about it, what would happen if this kind of arbitrary carrying thing was put into BF V or BF 1? Does the rebirth beacon still need a sniper belt? Ridiculous!

    i object to it because completely changing the game (which is what it would be) 6+ months after release when a lot of us have hundreds of hours of playtime is wrong.  It is what it is now.  i enjoy the freedom we have in the game to choose what weapons/gadgets we want and if they do change the game to classes it will be a year from release by the time the get around to it.  totally changing a game people have purchased 6 months to a year after release is a slap in the face.   should the game have released with classes?  if they were to stick to old bf formula then yes.  but it didn't and we are too far into the life of the game to fundamentally change what we purchased.  everyone who played the beta knew what they were getting before launch.  now you want to change that.

    as for angel +aa i have no sympathy for vehicles.  vehicle mains are elitists who have terrorized infantry for years and infantry needs an option to fight back.  for the snipers, just keep moving and the useless snipers will miss you, hill humping snipers are typically low skill and can't hit anything anyway.  the c5 thing isn't a problem if you keep moving.    as for the sniper with an ammo box, they will just redeploy on their beacon when they run out of ammo.  that is what they have always done.
