Re: Remove the Armour Plate Gadget

@FG44141 I do not think they are going to change up any specialists at this point, but they could certainly give it more balance. For example have the plate take some time to put in, and once applied, you move slightly slower and your footsteps are heavier.

That would make people think about whether or not they want the advantage. Stay light and nimble, or tank up and risk not getting into cover.

    Honestly, if they removed the armor from Angel's gadget that they can spam would probably solve the issue.

    I'd take an educated guess and say not many people run with the plate gadget, instead run Angel or just hope an Angel reupplies them.

    @BaknPowder Both true, but that still would leave Irish's armor. Because that is his perk. That still would make the TTK is inconsistent.

    But at least you'd know when you were up against him that he has armour - the character model would be sufficient.

    As it stands right now, there's no way of telling who has the plate and who doesn't until the shooting starts or if you're lucky enough to see the player drop a pack or shoot a rocket.

    Do a test with a Portal server with a friend, and you will see that it is not more bullets that are needed. In any case, there is a reason for high-powered ammunition
