Re: Retail Pre-Order Battlefield 2042 and Beta Access

@ChugKendall I would really like to get beta access a week early. I may have to contact EA support directly. I completely understand your frustration. Also, I don't understand this staggered of the packages. Best Buy now has the disc version available for Windows and consoles, but it is only the basic version; I would have purchased it if it was available at the time. I will let you know if I find out anything.

@KOT-RottenDeslok The disc version isn’t really a disc version, since I think all Battlefields that have released within the last couple of years, mainly bf:V have been digital codes, meaning for those of us who preordered the game on either Best Buy, or GameStop, all we will get is a blank empty case, with a download code on the inside…. Though I just want to say, I am interested in the steel book version of the case as well, so I preordered this game from Best Buy as well. I will be waiting until the pre beta beta is almost here to ask anyone about that though, over at EA or the retailer.

@Dabrry0523 Possibly for PC, been a decade since I've played on one so no idea, but the console disc version is an actual physical disc.

@Dabrry0523 Best Buy is listing options for both "Digital and Physical" versions of the game. It includes disc versions for the following platforms: Windows, PS 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X. Below is a link to Best Buy and the Battlefield 2042 Windows (PC) physical disc version:

Look under "specifications" and under "Software Format" is notes physical. Best Buy also sells the digital version all supported platforms as well.
