The teams have shared an update regarding some of the feedback about the Weekly Missions:

    Thanks for the update Leeuw. Being active in the forums is always appreciated.

    However, and this has nothing to do with you, EAs response is completely unacceptable.

    This statement by EA:

     "You have also highlighted that the XP point total for normal gameplay is 6,500. This is intentional in connection to the duration of this Season. With these changes, our intent is that players who complete the majority of their Weekly Missions will reach Tier 100 with a reasonable amount of hours per week, and even with some time to spare before the end of the Season."

    One of the last weapons is level 46.  EA is basically saying you need to play 3/4 of the season to get that weapon.

    I think someone at EA failed basic math and its obvious.

    If they want to levels to start at 6500 for XP then it should remain flat for a long time.  But immediately starting to increase will make it nearly impossible to unlock anything significant without investing significant time. 

    It pains me to say it but I'm walking away from this franchise and don't think anything they can do will change that.  When BF4 dies I will just stop playing.

    @EA_Leeuw Yo DICE, this ain't it, at all. This is still a bad change that's pointlessly antagonistic to players that does not in any way improve the 2042 experience.

    Why y'all continue to find ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is a mystery to me, because this could have been a pretty good season kickoff without this completely unnecessary and pointless L.

    Stuff like this is why I continue to have confidence that DICE hasn't really learned anything as a studio after the experiences and disasters of BF V and 2042, and why I'm instead confident that if DICE is leading development on the next BF that we're in for a repeat of all the mistakes from 2042.

    The game is alright, but I guess y'all think it's way better than it actually is and that there aren't a ton of other great games out there that are willing to respect our time and not pointlessly and arbitrarily make earning rewards there take 20% longer, or more.

    Thanks for the update @EA_Leeuw much appreciated as I'm not on ex Twitter now X anymore. Beside the change of the amount of earnable BP-Points per week could you please clarify what happens  in general with XP-Points. I've noticed that half of the time I do not get XP at all since the last update / S6 has started. Is that intended or a bug? Have you introduced a XP-Cap per minute with the last update? Btw, I have to correct myself in #21. I've meant the "Legend" tag and sorry for that.

    Thank you for the info.

    To help us plan our individual battlepass progression I am wondering if we can somewhere find information about what reasonable amount of hours per week EA/Dice has in mind?

    I know that it will also depend on individual skill, but it would be nice to know, what they think would be the needed hours in average, so we can plan our individual progression better, also for the seasons badge.

    edit: Or maybe what could also help, is knowing how many total XP are needed, to get to 1000/1150 Battlepass points.

    Another issue is the levels are not increasing by 250 points per level like they should be.

    I went from 6500 to 7000 to 7250 to 7750.  WTF is that.  Its all over the place.  Some levels are 250 points more and some are 500 points more.

    This will make it even more difficult to level up.
