One can ponder why EA sends out this survey now and not 2 years ago, when the responses could have helped them shape the BF2042 game in time.

Via the Origin soldier setup, they have literally millions of player contacts and even the stats on hoiw many hours each has played, if they still play or stopped playing certain BF game. So asking all those playing aka more than 200h of previous BF games would be relevant, why did you like the game, why did you stop playing the game, etc...

EA is in chronic lack of interacting constructively and positively with their customer base.

@CyberDyme You make a good point. You do get the sense that they have a development mission that assumes that players will follow. There's some arrogance in there isn't there. Only justified if the game turns out to be a brahma!
