They actually buffed the guns since beta the cannons are much better now than before beta even with that they still suck because you cant aim them. The reason you cant aim the cannons and also THE BIGGEST problem is how the jet feels when you slow down... you fall out of the sky and cant turn this is why they feel super sluggish and is the primary reason why jets don't feel good. The lack of customization is also a giant fail we get literally nothing ... Passive missles are just heatseekers the AGR rockets just suck especially considering you have to GIVE UP heatseekers to use them. Besides that theres NOTHING real lack of content. I agree with this post mostly tho

    With the 30mm cannon and some periodic checks for enemy jets you are able to use the AGR perfectly .

    Ofc if you are facing 2 jets its a must just to try to resolve the dogfight as soon as posible.

    Btw and extra regarding the * flare bug  ....

    I mean to be fair, it makes sense. A jet doesn't have the lift needed to stay airborne at low speeds. What doesn't make sense is that they can turn on a dime. It honestly seems that everyone that plays battlefield have never played anything remotely realistic in their lives. No shot at you so don't take offense. Just a general overview from someone that plays games like arma 2/3, dcs, war thunder.

    The jets in battlefield are by far the most * air experience ive had ever.  They're just broken. For me they could just plain get rid of them and it would help out the overall balance of the game. They're either useless or extremely OP depending on who flies or what they're doing with it. Groundpound is overpowered as long as you know how not to crash, air to air is just who has the fastest turn rate which in this case is the russians. BF4 was more who had the skills, but now its just unbalanced to bits.
