I agree with you. But, I'm pretty sure the reason is because the smoke assist XP didn't exist at game launch. It wasn't introduced until update #1.0 in June. And we all know how terrible DICE is at reworking achievement criteria after changing the game.

@DigitalHype I think you’re right. They’ve shown an unwillingness to mess with the T1 requirements as shown by nerfing a specialist like Boris without commensurate reduction in the T1 requirements. I swear they are doing the absolute minimum they have to.
