Re: so DICE/EA will this game be abandoned ?

@SillyCyb Making mistakes is not the problem. The issue is making them up to your audience, something DICE has yet to do with 2042. I am giving them credit for the speed at which they churned out patches but overall the game ist still in a pretty rough state and at best 4 months away from what it should’ve been.
The moment to moment gameplay is not the big issue, the issue is core design choices. You say just call in vehicles to move around… hard to do if almost every time all are in use…
I am a BF fan trough and trough but currently it is just a very grueling time to be one… my criticism comes from a wish for DICE to be better but you can not see that

@X-Sunslayer-X  I’ve never had wait long to grab a bolte no more than a few moments  , there’s 8 of them on say hourglass dude…Party always Over at the stadiums , plenty of cover there ; no one is asking anyone to hang around in the desert. You defend an area and try and keep it , that’s enough to keep me busy for an entire match I don’t need to go anywhere half the time…

i was just miffed with the BFv comparisons

@SillyCyb I mean calling BFV one of DICEs greatest is stretching it for me personally.
I can not think of a single game that reworks their core gunplay three times against what the vocal community wanted….
On top of the sheer amount of networking problems the game has had for almost an entire year until they ironed them out, then dropping the first decent expansion with the pacific update only to then announce their departure to focus on 2042…
Then this game releases and all the mistakes of BFV are back with a vengeance…
That was the intend behind this post, to remind people of the promises made and the current lack of action upon them

Again chap , your BFV experiences doesn’t reflect mine (network issues ?)… I’m not someone that’s easily pleased I genuinely found BFV the most immersive experience…. And I was actually gutted they didn’t use its core… I was more angry at you lot for hating on it throughout its release ,I seriously was since I felt it played amazingly well…

but 2042 still plays like a BF game just not sure those specs were originally intended for AoW… all they need to do is throw in some classes to play along side them , throw in a scoreboard , provide some of BF4 unlocks for vehicles and most people would be sweet

but neglecting this “like they did BFv” not so sure V was even neglected…. I’m happy with the pacific maps and happy where they left it , that’s one thing for certain

@SillyCyb If your game in BFV worked without the all the network issues then you were the lucky few. The fact it worked for you does not mean the issues were not there…

@X-Sunslayer-XAll accept it would be a universal issue…….. if it was a dice problem right

only issues I ever faced were of my own not theirs , stupid things like broadband channels conflicting 2.4 and 5g - that was my only issue , an issue tho I’d solved within 40 minutes………. I certainly hadn’t held hate in heart to quickly blame them

@SillyCyb The worst of the issues were from launch 2018 for about the first half of 2019, so there is a big possibility you actually missed the worst of them.
There are also videos on YouTube proving to DICE the TTD and network issue especially on PC were on their end.
By the end the game was decent but I and many others felt DICE never actualized its potential….
But if you enjoyed it all the more power to you I played about 1500h, my criticism for DICE is because I want them to be better and not do the same issues over and over again….

@X-Sunslayer-XNever had issues with the ttk ever did I , I was quite concerned when they made changes to ttk - changes actually I never noticed thankfully…. I bought V at launch never had network issues , the only issues I ever had (aside from my own) were idiots not knowing how to play the game , idiots that expected to be good straight off the bat then gave it 1 star reviews because they couldn’t b f to sink the time In
