@CountSero I think you're taking this "/thread" thing way too personal. It doesn't mean much, more of a joke on this thread. No, I don't actually want to close this thread, it would be naive to even think that.
You quoted my point, and then said, what's your point.... My point is simple. There are a very few users here that are incredibly vocal, I won't point fingers, but it's rather obvious. These users are creating threads, talking about how much they prefer something, but then the evidence to back it up goes to nowhere other than "because I like it". That's fine, everyone has an opinion. But when the majority of the fanbase disagrees with these posts, the user won't budge. To them, they are right, and no one else can say otherwise is how they act.
That's why I said this thread is just going in circles. If you're creating a thread about a controversial subject, and you are fully known as being in the minority, you have to be able to have a middle ground discussion so everyone can eventually come to terms with middle ground solutions.
Problem is, that's not what's happening here. These users are rocks. They will not move because "I'm right, because you're wrong". If you're in the minority of a debate, this will lose the debate every time. But if you're in the majority, that alone has weight to it. That means that's what the majority of customers want. And if that's the case, there's not much more that needs to be said.... even though, plenty has been said to counter the specialists.
If said users want to persuade this majority and provide reasons as to why they think it's better, then great. We're all here waiting and listening, but the majority has still remained unmoved. These threads failed to convince the majority of customers, and these vocal users won't budge.
