@UP_HawxxeyeKeep in mind how bad the balance is in these 2042 servers, was in a match the other day the defenders had 10 real players (including me), the attackers had 20, and the rest of the 64p server was bots. It started that way, and didn’t change for what ended up as the fastest round of Breakthrough I’ve had the misfortune to get railed on.

I get that the game is desperately short of players. We need bots to be present just to give us targets. Because Dice has done such a poor job of balancing, I can see why the OP is against bots. If that server was 15 on 15 and the rest bots, I think we’d have held our own in that match. Where I think the OP loses this path is if players leave and get replaced with bots, and it’s out of balance at that stage, that’s still on Dice. If that many people are leaving, it’s because the issue must be it’s a roll (people rarely quit a winning game) and that’s a balance issue. I’d be happy to have it wrap up if we’re down by 10, just get it over and start a new map.

    This would have been much better with the third party auto admins of BF3/BF4 keeping the teams even.

    There also seems to have been some issue since the 6.0 update that made larger bot teams to exist.

    I cannot yet decide if I like of dislike that. I will still hold the flesh and blood humans responsible for throwing the game. To quote some brain eating monster from some monster series "You do not need that brain if you are not going to use it!"
