2042 is a live service game. Which naturally means the service will be changing as the game is live. I also miss 128 player breakthrough but I understand why they felt the need for it to not be one of the gamemodes being there 24/7.
@Carbonic Live service does not mean market two main game modes, sell game, then remove one of the two main modes. Fortnite is live service, have they ever removed battle royale? Has Overwatch ever removed competitive? Has Call of Duty ever removed Search and Destroy? Live service means fix perceived problems not remove them to avoid dealing with them, especially when you used it to make money off players. They removed the mode right before the actual “live service” seasons began too, so it looked like even more of a quick cash grab than anything.
