Re: Suddenly i can't seem to kill anyone

@Adamonic I find myself developing startegies to offset the bad coding and network traffic over the actual gameplay these days. Rule of thumb, if you make a shot and get a kill, duck back under cover or run from the immediate area before you get spotted. Then pop up in another place and shoot again. Works most of the time, especially with Crawfords vulcan. As soon as I start shooting, everyone stops and starts firing at me. I get a kill and then jump off and get to the other side of the hill. Wait about 5-10 seconds, then repeat until they finally come get me. Because they will. I especially love the armor that will chase me accross the entire map, totally ignoring all my other team standing in the open and firing.

@Ahhnuld I never get hit and not die. If someone shoots me, they kill me instantly. There are no firefights. I have to be shooting at someone who is not shooting at me. I definitely shoot and move, but it is normally shoot and die.

@Adamonic I understand, and its similar for me. If you get the drop on someone, hit them then get out of sight, wait for a few seconds, then pop back up and see if its clear. This past weekend I lost 90% of face to face shoots, even when I was scoring multiple headshots. If a game is going so bad that I am getting killed after spawning and taking 3 steps, I quit the game and go join another. Been having to do that a lot over the past 3 days.
  • Turn on your network status box in options. Watch for either large spikes in the ALAT time or a very high consistent ALAT time (compared to your latency). Also watch for noticeable spikes in the TN around the time of an XP event or your death in game. If you see either of these, it’s a thing nefarious players are doing (that we can’t talk about) that's causing it to happen.

It’s so brazen right now, they even have had audaciousness to post links back to their cloud hosted site on the EA official forums. The post in question had been up for over 5 hours and I don’t know how long after that it took a forum mod to take it down. The amount of organization being put into ruining the gameplay and griefing players is far beyond what anyone might think.

EA needs to step up the deployment of the kernel-level anti-cheat for this title as well as what they have planned for FIFA 23. Nothing in game will get better until they do. You simply can’t balance weapons or vehicles properly on the developer side that are not being used as intended because they are being manipulated by a 3rd party interaction. Most complaints on a new kernel-level anti-cheat won’t be from players seeking fair and balanced legitimate gameplay, but from nefarious users seeking to secure the easiest route to continue griefing, cheating, and breaking the gameplay.

I've been testing and recording net stats while playing, and getting close to figuring out exactly what game server will be smooth and fair and what game server will be a nightmare by simply watching the network stats before and right after a game begins.

You are correct that ALAT is the main ingredient to the equation.  Yet other variables play into the ALAT, as your own LAT (latency) creates issues if either too low OR too high, and it is tied back into ALAT ranges.  Any chance you could PM me the "nefarious" info as the spiking ALAT one of the variables I can't seem to figure out, so knowing why it is happening will help solve the BF net code enigma.

I plan to post my findings when I'm confident I've figured out with a higher confidence what is going on and why...

You want a  kernel level program made by a devolvement group that has had 0 games working from day one? no thank you.  Just like denuvo kernel level drm kills pc gaming every version of these anti cheats gets taken out buy cheaters while legit customer's have a borked pc's with sypware.

They need to have the game streamed over the web with high tick rates.

Man, I am glad I just play games on my Xbox. Turn it on, Log-in, pick my game and press 'Play'.

You guys are WAY too involved with what should be an enjoyable playing experience. You guys are doing actual work that EA/DICE should be doing.

The only thing I know about a 'kernel' is from Orville Redenbacher and the movie Hackers.

Unplug the ps5/series console from the internet then wait 24-72 hours these drm programs are also on there and will prevent you from playing do to there server check verification systems. Not all games are affected some take longer were as others have a limited offline mode. Ubisoft does this and hitman series blocks all unlocks/extra content until you have internet

Denovu servers were attacked forcing them to shutdown showing no server no games that use that drm.

    https://www.vg247.com/drm-denuvo-offline-games-steam

With these types of drm systems you are renting them disc or not and with kernel its on extra step were they take over your pc you turn it on and ea connects to it or riot games which ever you have installed.

Single player or multiplayer they all are slowly getting these systems installed even worse is that when the servers go offline be it ubisoft/square/embracher or psn or xbox your game will no longer work.

This has already happened with old ubi games and some square titles.
