Re: The old scoreboard

Yes, DICE is using SBMM. DICE Community Manager Freeman confirmed this on Twitter.

Everything is working as intended and designed. The missing server browser is not a bug or an oversight, it's a 'feature'.

Similar to how the missing scoreboard, stats, and global chat are also intentional 'features'.

    @OskooI_007 I knew it!
    Somehow I figured they were using some sort to team balancing. I felt it and explains the pause to set up a game.
    Also explains the game farts of one side blowing out the other.
    idk I can go either way as one either likes it or hates it.
    I think the more it learns the better it will get but good players like to play good players and so it goes.

    This talk about SBMM is so funny. Even if this would be a good idea (which I don't think it is) it would mean it would find the BEST server for you or your party to join.

    If things continue and we have to wait until March? for (hopefully many) new maps being released, then you can count yourself lucky to find ONE server that is just starting a round and is not completely empty (meaning: filled with only AI).

    @OskooI_007AArgh, I hate Matchmaking, just want to find a server with good map rotation to play with same squad over several matches. SBMM doesn't work anyway how it is intended. You got maybe 10 lvl Max on each team and rest is canonfood for them. Don't need to invent the wheel everytime..... So in matchmaking they think they need to control the players, but regarding classes, no, there it is total chaos...

    By "hiding the scoreboard" "no one will notice.."
    What in the world has happend while developing this game... can't imagine everyone in the studio was like, yeah man! totally good ideas! woooh yeah this is great. Maybe someone should make a documentary about this development, just like that fyre-festival xP The poop did hit the fan, several times, and nobody stopped it.
