@Moab23 Ive discussed this on and off at length on other forums and I'll TLDR it for you.
Neither side likes playing against each other, but the lobbies might reduce dramatically if removed.
Personally, I bought the game thinking I could switch it off. By the time I realised I hate crossplay lobbies, I couldn't get a refund.
I won't be buying any more FPS titles going forward if these are not split into input methods lobbies.
It was never going to work, and further compounds the notion dice went ahead with it so a niche group of users could play together, without realising FPS players are notoriously competitive.
