@sk1lldI agree with what you say re. recoil and spread. Previous BFs were better in this respect, granted.
When comparing, say, with BFV, I'm still shot at distance with odd precision in 2042. In BFV I expect to be downed at a distance by SARs or Sniping weapons. In 2042 I've seen it all.The problem with adding recoil is that it makes the gaming experience less friendly to new entrants to the franchise. New players pick up the game, experience the recoil and then uninstall.
Note how DICE seems to have been summoned by EA to produce a BF that caters to those more inclined to a CoD experience (dare I even say Fortnite) as these games have been minting all the way to Switzerland.

Whereas I agree with some of your answers, I believe bullet spread is even more frustrating than recoil, at least you can get used to recoil. Spread just leaves new players even more confused/frustrated.
